Basic Principles of Environmental Management Activities

1. Legal compliance

We understand and comply with the environmental laws, regional ordinances, regulations and environmental standards of the Canon Group that are applicable to our company while carrying out production activities.

2. Management of goals and objectives

In order to achieve continuous improvement, we establish clear environmental objectives and quantified targets and strive to meet them. We also monitor our progress and social conditions, and periodically revise our targets and objectives.

3. Understanding of our initiatives and environmental education

We inform and educate our workforce so that each of our employees, as well as other concerned parties, understand our environmental initiatives and can actively engage in the activities that must be undertaken to achieve them.

4. Disclosure to the public

We disclose our environmental initiatives in an easy-to-understand manner when requested by members of the public.
